With Less than 1 year before the 2025 Reunion it is time to get busy!....

Hello FAMILY !!! Time waits on no one is what my elders have always  told me! 

                                    The time is here to plan our Family Reunion. 

After much deliberation, the 2025 Family Reunion Board has proceeded with the families wishes to Host the 2025 Eugene & Odelia Derouen Family Reunion and commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the first reunion created in 1992. We hope that this correspondence finds you happy, healthy and out of harm’s way. The Family Reunion Board cordially invites you to our 11th triennial family reunion. The dates of the reunion are listed at the top of this letter and more details will be revealed within this communication.

The 2022 Reunion moved dates to June , unfortunately the Reunion encountered less than half the Family members that Normally attend showed up siting the primary reason being that the 4th of July weekend was the better choice to be able to attend due to work schedules and other obligations. The Family voted to move the Reunion back to the 4th of July Weekend in order to accommodate as many Family Members as Possible. Remember Your Vote Counts just like in any election. 

The hotel selection is has been made for 2025 and is in the same location as the   2022, and 2019 Hotel Site – The Hilton Gardens Inn Cajundome. On most accounts, the family was pleased with the hotel and vice versa. Therefore, this was an easy decision for the board to make in the past. given it's size and location to amenities. The 2025 Reunion Committee will look at the needs of our people and hear their voice for 2025 in making decisions. 

The Costs of the Next Reunion are Pending Site Location and the Planned Festivities to Assure Our Family has a great time during this once in a 3 year event.

The 2025 Reunion Committee  along with other family members willing to participate in the planning process will review budgets and prices as the 2025 Reunion nears and make decisions about venues and containing costs. Prayerfully we will not have inflation overriding our family planning budget. Remember your voice has to be heard in this area.

The 2019 and 2022 Reunion Costs are indicated below:

Under 5 years of age - FREE

5 to   17 years of age - $40/person

18 to 74 years of age - $85/person

75 years of age and over - FREE
